However, Graziano did not give up hope and continued fighting. His perseverance paid off, and on July 16, 1947, he won the NBA and The Ring middleweight titles from Tony Zale by beating him via 6th round TKO. Graziano's total title wins were 2, but he had no title defenses. Graziano won a total of 51 fights via knockout and also had 1 title-fight KO win. Graziano suffered 3 losses via KO during his career.

However, he also experienced 10 losses in his professional boxing career, three of which occurred in title bouts and seven in non-title fights. Graziano's first loss occurred against Charles Ferguson via 6 round PTS on April 28, 1942. He was stopped three times in fights and lost seven times via decision.
Graziano's last professional bout was a non-title fight against Chuck Davey when he was 33 years old, on September 17, 1952, which he lost via 10 round unanimous decision. Graziano finished his professional career with a record of 67-10-6.
Rocky Graziano is recognized as one of the top professional boxers of his time. He was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1991 for his contribution to the sport. Despite suffering losses, Graziano never gave up and always fought with passion and determination, which earned him the respect and admiration of his fans and fellow boxers.
Graziano's two most notable fights during his career were:
