Amanda Serrano is a Puerto Rican professional boxer, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestler. She was born on October 9, 1988, and made her professional boxing debut against Jackie Trivilino on March 20, 2009, emerging as the winner via a four-round majority decision. Serrano is currently a seven-division world champion, having won 11 world titles across seven different weight classes. She is also the only female and Puerto Rican to achieve this feat. Serrano's boxing record is impressive, with 44 wins, two losses, and one draw.
Serrano stands at 5 ft 5+1⁄2 in (166 cm) with a reach of 65+1⁄2 in (166 cm) and is best known for her southpaw stance. Early Life and Career
Amanda Serrano was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, on October 9, 1988. Serrano grew up in a boxing family and was inspired by her sister, Cindy, who was also a professional boxer. The two became the first sisters to hold world titles from major sanctioning bodies at the same time after Cindy won the WBO featherweight title in 2016.
At the age of 20, Serrano made her professional boxing debut on March 20, 2009, against Jackie Trivilino. She won the fight via a four-round majority decision. Serrano went on to win three more consecutive fights, including three wins via stoppage.
Two years later, after 12 professional fights, Serrano had her first world title fight on September 10, 2011, against Kimberly Connor for the super-featherweight IBF (vacant) title. She defeated Connor via 2nd round TKO, becoming the super-featherweight champion of the world.
