He has featured in 29 fights, with 24 of those ending in victories, five losses, and no draws or No-Contests. He has 16 KO wins in his boxing career, but he has not won any international or world titles as at present. He stands at 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) and weighs 224 lb (102 kg; 16 st 0 lb) with a reach of 76 in (193 cm). His impressive record in professional boxing has made him a household name in Poland and amongst boxing enthusiasts around the world. Let's take a comprehensive look at his career.

Artur Szpilka made his professional boxing debut on October 18, 2008, at the age of 19, fighting against Senol Cente in the cruiserweight division. He won the fight via a 4-round unanimous decision. Following this victory, Szpilka enjoyed a successful start to his career in the ring with fifteen consecutive wins, including 12 via stoppage. He recorded a win against the likes of Fabio Tuiach, Tomasz Adamek, Manuel Quezada, Dominick Guinn, Taras Bidenko, Gonzalo Basile, and Mike Mollo, which set him apart in the sport.

In 2014, he faced his first loss against Bryant Jennings, who defeated Szpilka via a 10th-round TKO, ending his unbeaten run.

Three months later, he returned to the ring to reclaim his lost prominence, stopping Yasmany Consuegra via RTD in the second round. In his next fight, he recorded another stoppage victory over Manuel Quezada in the 3rd round. Artur took on Ty Cobb after Manuel Quezada, and on the 24th of April 2015, he won the fight in the second round through TKO.

The real test came on 8 November 2014 when Szpilka faced Tomasz Adamek, a former two-weight world champion, in one of the main events at the Tauron Arena in Kraków. More than 17,000 people watched the fight, and Szpilka produced a stunning performance, winning the fight via a ten-round unanimous decision. The win against Adamek was one of Szpilka's biggest wins in his professional career.

After recording four straight wins through 2016, Szpilka was awarded a world-title bout in January of that year, where he fought Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title. The fight held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, United States, on January 16, 2016, proved to be one of Szpilka's biggest fights to date. He lost to Wilder via a 9th-round KO, but his elusive style made it exceptionally tough for Wilder and drew accolades from boxing enthusiasts across the globe. With this loss, Szpilka focused on making a comeback with lessons learned.

Approximately a year and a half after fighting Wilder, Szpilka got into the ring again, facing Adam Kownacki, who defeated him via TKO in the fourth round. He wanted his career back on track, and that fight was a significant blow to his already struggling career.

However, he bounced back in his next fight in 2018, facing Mariusz Wach, and won the fight via a split decision in a close encounter. Szpilka continued with his winning ways in 2019, when he faced Fabio Tuiach and defeated him via a first-round KO.

However, in the same year, he faced Derek Chisora and lost via a second-round KO. The loss left him devastated and looking to regain his lost form. He moved down to cruiserweight and won a fight against Serhiy Radchenko by way of majority decision in March 2020.

In his most recent fight, he faced fellow Pole Łukasz Różański on May 30, 2021, in a non-title bout. Unfortunately, the fight ended quickly, and Artur lost via a first-round KO. It was a frustrating return to the ring for the Szpilka, who will be hoping to reset and rebuild his fighting career.

Although he has yet to win a world title, Artur Szpilka is still fighting an incredible journey, having shown that he can overcome unfavorable odds. At the age of 33, Artur has, undoubtedly, seen his fair share of in-ring action, coupled with the ups and downs of a career in boxing. His 24 wins and 5 losses have come from his heart, and he has proved to be a model of resilience to his fellow fighters.

It is evident that Artur Szpilka's career has not been short of memorable moments. From his famous fights against Tomasz Adamek, Bryant Jennings, and Deontay Wilder, to his recent comeback after a defeat by Mariusz Wach, Artur has shown that he is a boxer that must be taken seriously. Boxing enthusiasts and fans will undoubtedly look forward to more memorable moments from the career of Artur Szpilka.
