Daniel Ponce de León is a former Mexican professional boxer who made his debut in 2001 and retired in 2014 with a record of 45 wins, 7 losses, and 0 draws. León was born on July 27, 1980, in Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. With a height of 5 ft 5 in (165 cm) and a reach of 70 in (178 cm), he competed in various weight divisions during his career. León's preferred stance was southpaw, and he was known as "El León" ("The Lion").
