Devon Alexander is an American professional boxer, born on February 10, 1987, in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his professional debut at the age of 17 on May 20, 2004, defeating Vincent Torres via 1st round TKO.
He went on to win 20 more consecutive fights after his debut, which included 12 wins via stoppage. He had his first world title fight at the age of 22 on August 1, 2009, after 18 professional fights against Junior Witter for the super-lightweight WBC (vacant) title.
