However, he couldn't maintain his record during his latest fight against English boxer Sunny Edwards on November 11, 2022, for the flyweight IBF title. The fight went for 12 rounds, and Alvarado lost via unanimous decision, ending his 38-win streak.
Alvarado has a remarkable record of 41 fights, with 38 wins, three losses, and no draws or no-contests. Although he has only won one world title, his knockout record is quite impressive, with 33 of his 38 victories coming via knockout.
Some of Alvarado's notable victories include his win over Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr., Yader Cardoza, Ivan Meneses Flores, Sebastian Sanchez, Eliud De los Santos, and Karluis Diaz. Alvarado is known for his punching power and his ability to knock out his opponents.
