Frankie Randall was an American professional boxer who fought in the super lightweight division. He was born on September 25, 1961, in Birmingham, Alabama, and had a professional boxing career that spanned over 22 years. During that time, he competed in a total of 77 fights, winning 58 of them and losing 18, with the remaining one ending in a draw.

Out of his 58 victories, 42 were by knockout, which speaks to his incredible punching ability. He also won three world titles at super-lightweight and had two title defenses. Randall’s career highlights include his first remarkable performance against Edwin Rosario on January 30, 1993, and his impressive win against Julio César Chávez on January 29, 1994, in which he became the WBC super-lightweight world champion via a 12 round split-decision victory.

Throughout his career, Randall was known for his impressive footwork, which he used to evade opponents’ punches and move efficiently around the ring. He was also skilled at using his jab to set up powerful punches, which enabled him to end many of his fights via knockout.
