Greg Page was an American professional boxer who competed from 1979 to 2001, and held the WBA heavyweight title from 1984 to 1985. He was born on October 25, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, and won his professional boxing debut against Don Martin via 2nd round KO on February 16, 1979.

Page was a heavyweight fighter with a height of 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) and a reach of 81 in (206 cm). He fought a total of 76 times during his professional boxing career, winning 58 fights, losing 17, and drawing one. Additionally, Page had 48 KO wins, six losses via KO, and one title win.

Page's professional boxing career spanned more than 22 years, from 1979 to 2001. He won his first 19 fights before losing by unanimous decision to Trevor Berbick on June 11, 1982. He also suffered defeats in two title bouts and 15 non-title bouts, eleven of which were via unanimous decision. Six of his losses came via knockout.

One of the highlights of Page's career came on December 1, 1984, when he won the WBA heavyweight title from Gerrie Coetzee by beating him via an 8th round KO. However, his reign as champion was short-lived as he lost the belt to Tony Tubbs by a unanimous decision in his first title defense on April 29, 1985.

Page's career was marked by his tendency to struggle with consistency and his inability to maintain a healthy weight. He often lost fights due to being out of shape, and his career took a downward spiral after losing to Tubbs. He lost fights against unremarkable fighters such as Orlin Norris and Mark Wills, and even lost a fight against Dale Crowe for $1,500.

After retiring from boxing, Page worked as a boxing trainer for a while before returning to the ring in 1996. He went 16-0-1 with 15 knockouts before taking on Monte Barrett in October 1998. Barrett, 18-0 with 12 knockouts, won by a lopsided unanimous decision.

Page's last professional fight was against Dale Crowe at 42 years of age on March 9, 2001, in which he lost via a 10th round KO. After the fight, Page complained of severe headaches and was taken to the hospital. His condition worsened, and he eventually passed away on April 27, 2009, at the age of 50 due to injuries sustained during the fight.

Despite his inconsistent career, Page's record of 58-17-1, which included 48 knockout wins and six losses via knockout, and one title win cemented his place in the history of boxing. He will be remembered for his achievements and his contributions to the sport.
