Hasim Rahman is known as one of the most prominent heavyweight boxers in the history of the sport. His professional boxing career spanned more than 19 years, starting in 1994 and ending in 2014. Rahman had a total of 62 fights, winning 50 of them, with 41 knockout wins. He also had nine losses and two draws.

One of the most notable victories of Rahman's career was his defeat of Corrie Sanders via 7th round TKO on May 20, 2000. This was considered Rahman's first remarkable performance in the professional boxing world. A year later, on April 22, 2001, Rahman became a unified heavyweight world champion by beating Lennox Lewis via 5th round KO, in his first world-title fight. He held the WBC and IBF heavyweight world-champion belts at the time.

Rahman's professional boxing career started when he was 22 years old, and he defeated his first opponent Gregory Herrington on December 3, 1994, via 1st round KO. He went on to win 28 more consecutive fights, 23 of which were stoppage victories. Rahman had his first world title fight at the age of 28, after 36 professional fights, where he faced Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight WBC and IBF titles. Rahman emerged victorious, defeating Lewis via 5th round KO to become the heavyweight champion of the world.

Throughout his career, Rahman won a total of two world titles at heavyweight. However, he did not have any title defenses. Rahman had a total of nine losses in his professional boxing career – four of them in title bouts and five in non-title bouts. His first loss was a devastating one, as he was stopped by David Tua via 10th round TKO on December 19, 1998, after a 29-fight win streak. Rahman lost three times via decision, and he was stopped six times.

One of the most notable losses of Rahman's career was his defeat by Lennox Lewis in their rematch on November 17, 2001. This time around, Lewis knocked Rahman out in the fourth round. Rahman also suffered defeat at the hands of Wladimir Klitschko, Oleg Maskaev, and James Toney, among others.

Hasim Rahman's last professional fight was a non-title bout against Anthony Nansen on June 4, 2014. Rahman lost the fight via 3 round unanimous decision. It's been 8 years, 9 months, and 27 days since this fight. He retired from professional boxing with a record of 50-9-2.

In conclusion, Hasim Rahman's professional boxing career was one marked by a mix of success and disappointment. He was a formidable fighter in his prime, winning two world titles and defeating some of the biggest names in the sport. However, his lack of title defenses and numerous losses prevent him from being considered one of the all-time greats. Nonetheless, Rahman's impact on the sport is undeniable, solidifying his place in boxing's history as a significant heavyweight champion.
