With a height of 5 ft 9 in (175 cm) and a reach of 69+1⁄2 in (177 cm), Horn has fought in three weight classes - Welterweight, Light Middleweight, and Middleweight.
Jeff Horn made his professional boxing debut against Jody Allen on March 1, 2013, at the age of 25. He defeated Allen via 2nd round TKO to start his professional career on a promising note. Horn went on to win two more consecutive fights after his debut, both of which were won via stoppage.
Jeff Horn has fought a total of 24 times in his professional career and has an impressive record of 20 wins, three losses, one draw, and no no-contests. He has a total of 13 knockout wins and three losses via knockout, with one title win, one title defense, and one title-fight KO win.
For his remarkable performance in a fight against two-time world title challenger and former IBF #1 contender Naoufel Ben Rabah, Horn was ranked the #2 welterweight in the world by the WBO.
In his first world title fight, Jeff Horn went head-to-head against Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao, the former WBO welterweight champion, at the age of 29 on July 2, 2017. Despite being a relatively unknown boxer, Horn pulled off a stunning upset, defeating Pacquiao via 12 round unanimous decision to become the welterweight champion of the world.
Jeff Horn made a voluntary defense of the WBO title against Gary Corcoran on December 13, 2017, after he was supposed to give Pacquiao a rematch, but the rematch was delayed and did not eventuate. Corcoran's corner decided to throw in the towel in the eleventh round, thus helping Horn retain the title via TKO. Both fighters were cut during the fight, but Horn was leading on the scorecards at the time of the stoppage.
Horn's undefeated run came to a halt when he was challenged by Terence Crawford on June 9, 2018, for the WBO welterweight title. Crawford defeated Horn via technical knockout in the ninth round, thereby becoming the new WBO welterweight champion.
Horn moved up to middleweight after his defeat and faced Anthony Mundine on November 30, 2018. Jeff defeated Mundine in just 96 seconds. Next, Horn faced Michael Zerafa on August 31, 2019, in Bendigo. For the second time in his career, Horn lost via technical knockout in the ninth round. However, Jeff Horn won the rematch on December 18, 2019, by majority decision to bring his record to 20–2–1.
Horn's most recent fight was a non-title bout against fellow Australian boxer Tim Tszyu on August 26, 2020. Horn lost the fight via 8th round TKO. It has been 2 years, 7 months, and 5 days since Jeff Horn's last fight.
The Hornet's professional boxing record is quite admirable, with 20 wins, three losses, and a draw in 24 fights. However, all of his losses have come via stoppage.
