Jhonny González is a retired professional boxer, who has fought in 79 total fights spanning over two decades. Of those fights, he won 68, with 55 of them being KO wins. He has won four title fights at two weight classes, and has also defended his titles nine times. He suffered 11 losses, four of which were via KO, and has never had a draw or no-contest.
González made his professional debut at the age of 17 against Mario Perez in August 1999, losing the fight by a unanimous decision. It took González 34 professional fights and six years to win his first world title, which he achieved on October 29, 2005, at the age of 24. He defeated Ratanachai Sor Vorapin via 7th round TKO, becoming the WBO bantamweight world champion.

In his professional career, González suffered a total of 11 losses, six of which were in title bouts, and five were in non-title bouts. He suffered his first loss in his professional debut against Mario Perez via 4th round UD. He has been stopped four times and lost seven times via decision.
González retired from professional boxing after his last fight against Ramiro Blanco on August 17, 2019. He won the non-title bout via 12-round unanimous decision, finishing his career with a record of 68-11.
