Josh Warrington is a professional boxer who made his debut at the age of 18 against Delroy Spencer on October 31, 2009, winning through a 4-round PTS. He went on to win 29 more consecutive fights which included seven victories via stoppage. During his career, Warrington has had a total of 34 fights, winning 31, losing two, drawing one, and having no no-contests. Among his seven KO wins, two of them came in fights that were title matches. Additionally, he has successfully defended his title three times and has had two victories in title Fight KO Wins.

Warrington had his first world title fight when he was 27 years old after 26 fights as a professional against Lee Selby for the featherweight IBF title on May 19, 2018. By defeating Selby via a 12-round split-decision, he became the featherweight champion of the world. For all the details on his world title wins and defenses, consult "Josh Warrington World Titles." He has won two world titles at featherweight. Some of Warrington's notable victories and best fights include wins over Sofiane Takoucht, Carl Frampton, Kiko Martínez, Lee Selby, Kid Galahad, Dennis Ceylan, and Patrick Hyland.

Unfortunately, despite his impressive record as a boxer, Warrington has also experienced defeats. In his professional career, he has had a total of two losses, one in a title meeting, and the other in a non-title bout. He lost once via decision and once via stoppage. One of his most unfortunate realities was his recent featherweight title defense against Mexican boxer Luis Alberto Lopez on December 10, 2022. In a 12-round majority decision, Warrington lost the title, marking his first defeat in a long time, he went on a one-fight losing streak. The defeat reasonably stung, but it also shows the kind of fighter Warrington is because he is not afraid to fight tough opposition.

Warrington's professional boxing record presently stands at 31-2-1, including eight knockout victories and one loss via KO, as well as two title wins. So, I think if he handles himself calmly and methodically, he could have a shot at winning more titles in the future. Warrington remains a determined boxer and his enthusiasm for the sport could lead to further success. The boxing world eagerly anticipates his upcoming fights and would like nothing more than to witness an exciting and triumphant victory.

The IBF featherweight title ranks high among Warrington's accomplishments as a fighter, and he has earned that moniker as a result of his feats in the ring. Among Warrington's most significant bouts, there are four that deserve special attention. On May 19, 2018, Josh Warrington won his first world title after defeating Lee Selby via a 12-round split-decision. He is currently the IBF featherweight world champion. On December 22, 2018, Warrington retained his IBF featherweight championship against Carl Frampton in a 12-round unanimous decision. On October 12, 2019, Warrington successfully defended his IBF featherweight championship title against Sofiane Takoucht in a 2nd round TKO. On March 26, 2022, he defeated Kiko Martínez in a 7th round TKO to claim the IBF featherweight title.

Josh Warrington's career as a professional boxer has been highly successful, and his impressive accomplishments in the ring only serve to further weight his abilities. Unfortunately, every career faces its ups and downs, highs and lows, and no one is an exception to that rule. But there is no doubt that Warrington's devotion to the sport, his talent, and his desire to keep fighting will keep him in the public's affection for many years to come.

Boxing is a sport that takes both skill and courage. Josh Warrington has shown these qualities many times throughout his career. He is a champion who knows how to win, and a worthy opponent to any adversary he meets in the ring. As such, his future remains bright, and he continues to be one of the sport's most prized assets. Warrington may have experienced defeat, but that does not mean he has lost his desire to fight. He remains a fighter at heart, and his future is proof of that.
