Julio César Chávez Jr. is a Mexican professional boxer with an impressive record of 53 wins, 6 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no-contest. He has 34 knockouts under his belt and has won one world title at middleweight.

Chávez Jr. made his debut in the boxing world in September 2003 at the young age of 17, defeating Jonathan Hernandez via a 4-round unanimous decision. He went on to amass 22 consecutive wins, including 18 via stoppage, further cementing his place in the sport. After 44 professional fights, Chávez Jr. had his first world title fight at the age of 25 on June 4, 2011, against Sebastian Zbik for the middleweight WBC title. He defeated Zbik via 12 round majority decision to become the middleweight champion of the world. This win was one of the highlights of his career and showcased his potential.

Over the years, Chávez Jr. has had some impressive wins over recognized names in the boxing world. Some of his notable victories include those over Peter Manfredo Jr., Marco Antonio Rubio, Andy Lee, Brian Vera, Marcos Reyes, Sebastian Zbik, and Dominik Britsch. Each of these fights helped him gain credibility as a professional and improve his overall record.

However, Chávez Jr.'s professional record also features a total of six losses, including one in a title bout and five in non-title bouts. His first loss came against Sergio Martinez via a 12-round unanimous decision on September 15, 2012, which ended his 46-fight win streak. He has been stopped twice and lost four times via decision.

Despite these losses, Chávez Jr. enjoys a loyal fan base and continues to compete against worthy opponents. One such example is his non-title bout against David Zegarra in December 2021, which he won via 10-round unanimous decision.

One of Chávez Jr.'s career highlights is his first world title win against Sebastian Zbik. However, he also successfully defended his title three times against top middleweights like Peter Manfredo Jr., Marco Antonio Rubio, and Andy Lee. Losing to Canelo Álvarez via a 12th round unanimous decision on May 6, 2017, is another notable event in his career. Nonetheless, Chávez Jr. continues to strive for excellence and is on a one-fight winning streak presently.

Chávez Jr.'s KO record is also noteworthy, with 34 wins by knockout. However, his losses via KO are an area in which he needs to improve. He has only won one world title, and despite his potential early in his career, he never gained the same notoriety as his father Julio César Chávez Sr.

All in all, Julio César Chávez Jr. is a capable fighter with an impressive record of 53-6-1. His knockouts have been some of the most memorable moments in his career, and his three successful title defenses stand testament to his talent. While he may have faced some setbacks in his professional record, he has continued to compete at a high level and is still a fan favorite in the sport.
