Julius Indongo is a Namibian professional boxer who has had an impressive career in the sport. With a total of 27 fights, Indongo has managed to secure 23 wins, 12 of which were by way of knockout. The two-time super-lightweight world champion has also had one title defense, and has fought against some of the best boxers in the world.

Indongo made his professional debut against Pohamba Mandume back in July 2009. He won the fight via a four round unanimous points decision. He would go on to win 21 more consecutive fights, with 11 of them being stoppages. This streak included his first world title fight against Eduard Troyanovsky on December 3, 2016, where he knocked out his opponent in the first round to win the super-lightweight IBF title.

The Namibian's most notable win came just a few months later, on April 15, 2017, when he became a unified super-lightweight world champion. He defeated Ricky Burns via a 12 round unanimous decision, and held both the IBF and WBA (Unified) super-lightweight world-champion belts.

Indongo has had a total of four losses in his professional boxing career so far, one of which was in a title bout and three in non-title bouts. His run of 22 consecutive wins came to an end when he lost to Terence Crawford via a third round KO on August 19, 2017. Indongo suffered all of his losses via stoppage.

Indongo's most recent fight was a non-title bout against Tanzanian boxer Hassan Mwakinyo on September 3, 2021. Unfortunately, he lost the fight via a fourth round TKO. It has been one year, six months, and 28 days since this fight, and Indongo's professional boxing record currently stands at 23-4.

Throughout his career, Indongo has fought against some of the best boxers in the world. Some of his best fights and notable victories include wins over Eduard Troyanovsky, Ricky Burns, Fabian Lyimo, Zolani Marali, Kaizer Mabuza, Carltavius Jones Johnson, and Allan Kamote. His two world title wins and his impressive run of 22 consecutive wins cemented his status as one of the best super-lightweight boxers in the world during his prime.

Despite his two losses in a row, Julius Indongo's career will go down in history as one of the most successful in Namibian boxing. His impressive record of 23 wins (12 of which came via KO), and two super-lightweight world title wins are testament to his skill, dedication, and hard work. While he may no longer be at his prime, fans and followers of boxing will forever remember the name Julius Indongo and the legacy he has left in the sport.
