Luisito Espinosa is a former professional boxer who had an illustrious career that spanned over two decades. Born on October 15, 1967, in Barangay Looc, Danao City, Cebu, Philippines, Espinosa's career highlights include winning two world titles at two weight classes, having a record of 47-13 with 26 knockout wins, and successfully defending his title eight times.

Espinosa made his professional debut on May 25, 1984, against Vladimer Raffy at the young age of 16. He won his debut via 4 round PTS, beginning a journey that would see him become one of the most successful boxers in his weight class.

After 26 professional fights, Espinosa had his first world title fight on October 18, 1989, at the age of 22, challenging Kaokor Galaxy for the bantamweight WBA title. It was a memorable fight as Espinosa won the title after defeating Galaxy via 1st round KO, becoming the bantamweight champion of the world.

Espinosa defended his title for the first time on February 9, 1990, against Eusebio Espinal. He won the fight via 11th round TKO, showing the world that he was not just a one-time champion.

In March 1996, Espinosa made history by successfully defending the WBC featherweight title against Alejandro González, winning the fight via 4th round TKO. Five years later, on November 28, 1998, he successfully defended the title again, this time against Kennedy McKinney. He won the fight via 2nd round TKO, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest boxers in his weight class.

Espinosa had some memorable fights and notable victories in his professional career, including wins over Carlos Rios, Ramon Aragon, Marco Angel Pérez, and Jun Young-Man. However, his fight against Kennedy McKinney was undoubtedly one of the highlights of his career. It was a closely contested fight, with Espinosa showing great skill and determination to come out on top.

Throughout his career, Espinosa suffered a total of 13 losses, three of which were in title bouts and ten in non-title bouts. The first loss he suffered was against Ariel Samson via 6 round PTS on August 17, 1984. He suffered his last defeat 20 years later on February 18, 2005, against Cristóbal Cruz. He lost the non-title bout via 3rd round TKO.

Despite the losses, Espinosa proved time and time again that he was one of the best boxers in his weight class. He retired from professional boxing with a record of 47-13, which included 26 knockout wins and seven losses via knockout, and two title wins.

Espinosa has left a lasting legacy in the world of boxing, and his achievements, including his two world titles and eight successful title defenses, are a testament to his skill, determination, and heart.

Today, Luisito Espinosa is a celebrated figure in the Philippines and beyond, and his contributions to the sport of boxing will never be forgotten.
