Mateusz Masternak, also known as "Master", is a Polish professional boxer who fights in the Cruiserweight division. Born on May 2, 1987, in Iwaniska, Poland, Masternak made his professional boxing debut against Anton Lascek at the age of 19 on June 3, 2006, defeating him via 2nd round TKO.

After his debut, Masternak went on to win 29 more consecutive fights, including 21 wins via stoppage. Throughout his boxing career, Masternak has had a total of 52 fights, resulting in 47 wins with 31 of those being knockout victories. He has suffered five losses, with one of them being a knockout loss.

Masternak's notable victories include wins over Laszlo Hubert, Youri Kayembre Kalenga, Carl Davis, Michael Simms, Ali Ismailov, Shawn Corbin, and Jameson Bostic. He has had a six-fight winning streak, his most recent fight being a non-title bout against Jason Whateley on October 29, 2022, which he won via a 12 round unanimous decision.

On March 6, 2010, in Katowice, Masternak fought during the main event of the Diamond Boxing Night at the Spodek Hall, where he defeated Faisal Ibnel Arrami in the eighth round via technical knockout. All three judges had scored the fight 70:63 for Masternak, indicating that he won each round.

Masternak had his first title defense in his second reign as EBU Cruiserweight champion on September 5, 2015, against Carlos Ailton Nascimento. Masternak won by TKO in the second round and claimed the WBA Inter-Continental Cruiserweight title. However, Masternak lost the EBU European Cruiserweight title to England's Tony Bellew (25-2-1, 16KOs) at The O2 Arena, London, on December 12, 2015. The judges unanimously scored the contest 115-113, 115-112, 115-112 all in favor of Bellew.

Masternak has participated in the World Boxing Super Series cruiserweight tournament, where he fought in the quarter-final bout on October 20, 2018, against Yunier Dorticos. Masternak lost by unanimous decision, and the scores were 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113.
