Nate Miller was an American professional boxer who competed from 1986 to 2001. Over the course of his career, Miller participated in forty bouts, emerged victorious in thirty-one fights, lost nine times (with no defeats by KO), and never drew a match or received a no-contest verdict. He was born on August 3, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and belonged to the cruiserweight weight class (around 200 lbs). He stood at 6 ft 2 in tall and had a reach of 77 in.

Miller made his professional boxing debut at 23 years old, on September 30, 1986, against Tony Jackson, and won the fight by way of first-round TKO. His start was impressive as Miller won twelve consecutive fights after his debut, ten of which were via stoppage.

In 1994, at the age of 30 and with a record of 25 wins and 1 loss, Miller received his first ever world title fight, against Alfred 'Ice' Cole, for the IBF Cruiserweight Title. Miller suffered his first loss in the title bout, falling to Cole via 12 round unanimous decision.

The following year, however, Miller bounced back from his defeat in spectacular fashion. On July 22, 1995, he knocked out Orlin Norris in the eighth round to win the WBA Cruiserweight Title. Miller defended the WBA Cruiserweight Title four times, until he lost it to Fabrice Tiozzo via unanimous decision in 1997. Miller retired in 2001 after losses to Orlin Norris, Thomas Hearns, and Vincenzo Rossitto.

Throughout his career, Miller won 27 out of 31 fights by knockout, and his record includes one world title at cruiserweight, one world title fight loss, four title defenses, and five title-fight KO wins. It is important to note that all his losses were by decision.

Miller's most impressive wins throughout his career include victories over Hall of Famer Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Orlin Norris, Alexander Gurov, Reinaldo Gimenez, James Heath, Carlton West, Ron Preston, and Brian LaSpada.

It's been over twenty years since Miller's last fight. His final fight was a non-title bout against Vincenzo Rossitto on June 23, 2001. Miller lost the fight via 10 round PTS, ending his professional boxing career with a record of 31-9, 27 of those being knockout victories.

Overall, Nate Miller was a talented boxer who experienced both tremendous highs and significant lows in his professional boxing career. Nevertheless, he's been able to retire with a world title and his place cemented in boxing history.
