Panya Pradabsri

Panya Pradabsri is a professional boxer hailing from Thailand who has amassed an impressive record of 39-1. With 23 knockout wins under his belt and two world title wins, Pradabsri is a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world.

Pradabsri made his debut on January 10, 2014, at the age of 22, defeating Wilber Andogan via a 6 round unanimous decision. From then on, he went on an 18-fight winning streak, winning 10 of those fights via stoppage.

After just three professional fights, Pradabsri had his first world title shot against Ardi Tefa for the strawweight WBC (vacant) title. On November 19, 2014, Pradabsri did not disappoint, defeating Tefa via 5th round TKO to become the strawweight champion of the world.

Although Pradabsri has enjoyed tremendous success in his career, he did suffer his first loss at the hands of Xiong Chaozhong via 12 round majority decision in October 2017. This loss ended Pradabsri's 18-fight win streak. However, he did not let this loss defeat him, and he came back even stronger, winning his next 21 fights.

Pradabsri's most recent fight was on August 30, 2022, in a strawweight title defense bout against Norihito Tanaka. Pradabsri put up a strong fight and emerged victorious via a 12 round unanimous decision, defending his WBC title.

Throughout his career, Pradabsri has won a total of two world titles at strawweight. On November 19, 2014, he won his first world title by defeating Ardi Tefa via 5th round TKO. On November 27, 2020, Pradabsri won the WBC strawweight title from Wanheng Menayothin, beating Menayothin via a 12 round unanimous decision. On March 29, 2022, Pradabsri successfully defended the WBC strawweight title against Wanheng Menayothin, winning the fight via a 12 round unanimous decision.
