Patrick Teixeira is a Brazilian professional boxer. He was born on December 5, 1990, in Sombrio, Brazil. With a height of 5 ft 11+1/2 in (182 cm) and a reach of 76+1/2 in (194 cm), he is known for his southpaw stance, making him a formidable opponent in the light middleweight and middleweight weight classes. Teixeira made his professional debut in August 2009, recording a 2nd round KO against Fabio Pardinho. Subsequently, he won 25 consecutive fights, including 21 by stoppage. He was signed by Golden Boy Promotions in 2015 and was predicted to become Brazil's best chance of winning a world title.
