Richard Hall

Richard Hall, born on October 25, 1971 in Kingston, Jamaica, is a former professional boxer who competed from 1996 to 2013 in the light heavyweight and cruiserweight weight classes. Known as "The Destroyer," Hall's boxing career spanned over 17 years, with a total of 44 fights, 30 wins, and 14 losses.

Hall made his professional boxing debut against Jose Hiram Torres in 1996 and won via a first-round knockout. Five years later in 2000, Hall had his first world title fight against Roy Jones Jr. for the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles at the age of 28, losing via an 11th round TKO. Despite never winning a world title, Hall had several notable victories throughout his career against opponents such as O'Neil Bell, Julian Letterlough, Anthony Bigeni, Byron Mitchell, and Anthony Spain.

Throughout his career, Hall was known for his tenacity and power, with 28 of his 30 wins coming by knockout. However, he also had a vulnerability to being knocked out, with six of his 14 losses coming via decision and eight losses coming via knockout.

Hall's last professional fight was a non-title bout against Krzysztof Glowacki on October 19, 2013, in which he was defeated via a 4th round TKO. Nine years have since passed since this fight, and Richard Hall has since retired from professional boxing with a record of 14-14, including 13 knockout wins.

Despite not winning a world title, Richard Hall had a successful career in the ring and left a lasting impression on the boxing world with his impressive knockout record and notable victories.
