Steve Geffrard may not have reached the heights of being a world champion yet, but that does not diminish his achievements in the boxing world. He has been in the ring for over nine years and has fought in 21 professional bouts.

In his career so far, Geffrard has won 18 fights, lost three bouts, with no draws, and no no-contests. Out of the 18 wins, 12 of them came by KO. He has not won a world title yet, nor has he defended any however, these statistics do not take away from his tenacity and the quality of his fights.

Geffrard made his professional debut in February 2013 against Kentrell Claiborne at the age of 22. Unfortunately, he was not victorious in his debut, as he lost to Claiborne via a third-round TKO. Geffrard did not let this defeat hold him down and kept on fighting to build his career in the sport.

It took Steve Geffrard over eight years to get a shot at a world title. He finally got it in January 2022, after 20 professional fights, against Joe Smith Jr. for the WBO title. While he may have been unsuccessful in his attempt to capture the world championship, the fact that he was able to get to this level is commendable.

Throughout his career, Steve Geffrard has had some significant wins against fighters such as Dmitry Sukhotskiy, William Johnson, Zoltan Sera, Shannon Miller, Samuel Miller, Reggie Pena, and Cory Cummings. These fighters may not have been world champions, but they were formidable opponents that Geffrard faced and defeated.

However, Geffrard has also developed a reputation for being susceptible to getting knocked out as two of his three losses were via TKO. In his professional debut, he lost via a third-round TKO to Kentrell Claiborne. In his title fight on January 15, 2022, against Joe Smith Jr., he lost via a ninth-round TKO. Adding to that, his other loss came through a decision.

It's been over a year since his last fight, which was on January 15, 2022, against Joe Smith Jr. During the match, Steve Geffrard showed great optimism, and his defense game was pretty solid. Although he lost, he was able to hold his ground and gave Smith Jr. a good challenge.

Overall, Steve Geffrard's record stands at 18-3 with 12 knockout wins and two losses via knockout. He is currently on a one-fight losing streak, but he is not one to be underestimated. His perseverance and dedication to the sport of boxing deserve recognition.

Boxing is a sport where a single punch could be the difference between winning or losing. That said, Steve Geffrard has an impressive track record within the boxing arena. Although he has not captured a world title yet, his experience and battles speak to his commitment to the sport. We look forward to seeing him in the ring shortly.
