Tiger Flowers, also known as Theodore Flowers, was a professional boxer whose career spanned over 9 years, from 1918 to 1927. Flowers fought a total of 160 times throughout his career, winning 135 of them, with 55 of those wins being knockouts. He also had 8 draws and zero no-contests. He suffered 17 losses, with 10 of those being by knockout.

Flowers made his professional boxing debut in 1918 against Billy Hooper, winning the fight by an 11th-round knockout. After that, he won 18 more consecutive fights, nine of which were stoppages. In 1926, at the age of 30, Flowers fought his first world title fight against Harry Greb for the middleweight NBA, NYSAC, and The Ring titles. Flowers defeated Greb via a 15 round split-decision to become the middleweight world champion.

Flowers won a total of three world titles throughout his career. His other notable victories include wins over two Hall-of-Famers, Happy Hunter, Eddie Palmer, Johnny Wilson, Jamaica Kid, Gorilla Jones, and Lee Anderson. He retired at 32 years of age, with his last professional fight being a non-title bout against Leo Gates on November 12, 1927, which he won via 4th round TKO.

Flowers' career was not without setbacks. He suffered his first loss against Panama Joe Gans via a 6th round knockout on August 8, 1921, which ended his 19-fight win streak. Flowers, unfortunately, suffered a total of 17 losses in his professional career, with one of them in a title bout and 16 in non-title bouts. He was stopped 10 times and lost seven times via the decision.

Flowers' most significant career highlights took place in 1926. On February 26, 1926, he won his first world titles by defeating Harry Greb via a 15 round split-decision. With this win, Flowers was crowned the NBA, NYSAC, and The Ring middleweight world champion. A few months later, on August 19, 1926, Flowers successfully defended his NBA, NYSAC, and The Ring middleweight titles against Harry Greb, winning the fight via a 15 round split-decision.

Tiger Flowers' career may have ended in 1927, but his legacy continues to live on. In 1993, he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF). Flowers' determination and hard work inspired many young boxers to follow in his footsteps and paved the way for them to become successful in their own careers.

In conclusion, Tiger Flowers was a talented and remarkable professional boxer whose achievements are still remembered today. Despite experiencing a few setbacks throughout his career, Flowers never gave up and continued to push through. His determination and passion for boxing have made him a legendary figure in the sport and serve as an inspiration to many aspiring boxers even today.
