Tommy Karpency is an American professional boxer with over 20 years of experience in the ring. Born on July 4, 1986, in Adah, Pennsylvania, Karpency made his professional boxing debut against Santiago Hillario on May 19, 2006. He was only 20 years old at the time and went on to defeat Hillario via a 4-round unanimous decision.

After his debut, Karpency continued his winning streak and won ten more consecutive fights, with seven coming via stoppage. Some of his notable victories include wins over Marlon Hayes, Rubin Williams, and Chad Dawson. He had a total of 39 fights in his professional boxing career until now, out of which he won 30, lost 8, and drew 1.

On February 25, 2012, Karpency had his first world title fight against Nathan Cleverly for the WBO title at the age of 26, after 24 professional fights. Although he put up a good fight, he lost to Cleverly via a 12-round unanimous decision.

In his professional boxing career so far, Karpency has had a total of eight losses, two of which were in title bouts, and six were in non-title bouts. His first loss was against Rayco Saunders via an 8-round unanimous decision on July 2, 2008, which ended his 11-fight winning streak.
