Tugstsogt Nyambayar is a professional Mongolian boxer, who made his debut in the sport on March 13, 2015, against Gabriel Braxton at the young age of 22. He won his first fight via first-round KO, starting his professional boxing career on a high note.
After winning his debut, Nyambayar went on to win ten more fights, including eight via stoppage, before experiencing his first defeat. His winning streak ended when he faced off against Gary Russell Jr. on February 8, 2020, in a 12-round bout for the WBC title, which he lost via unanimous decision.
Nyambayar has fought a total of 15 professional bouts with two losses, one draw and 12 wins to his name. Interestingly, both his losses came in bouts decided via decision. Even though he has never been knocked out in a single fight, he has managed to secure a remarkable nine victories via knockout, showcasing his power and skill as a boxer.
One of Nyambayar's notable victories was against Claudio Marrero on January 26, 2019, as he won the match via split decision.
