One of Pavlik's most notable victories was his win over Jermain Taylor in February of 2008, which he won via a controversial 12th round unanimous decision. Many fans and analysts considered Taylor to be winning the fight up until that point, but the judges' decision went in Pavlik's favor.
Pavlik successfully defended his titles against Gary Lockett in June of 2008, winning the fight via 3rd round TKO. His first loss was against Bernard Hopkins via a 12 round unanimous decision in October of 2008, which ended his 34-fight win streak. He has never been stopped, and both his losses came via decision.
Pavlik's last professional fight was a non-title bout against Will Rosinsky in July of 2012. He won the fight via 10 round unanimous decision. It's been over 10 years since that fight, and Pavlik's legacy as a dominant middleweight boxer has only grown over time.
